Finding Yourself

This post is refering to Finding Yourself by Mary Schneider (StarTwo). It was indeed a very attention-grabbing and important topic in this fast pace world. Most of us are not living the life we wish. We care too much about how others impression on us. We are not leading our own life but rather following the flow of the current society. The trends, the living standards and etc until to certain extend where we no longer see ourselves through our own eyes, but in truth we see ourselves through the eyes of others. How we want others to look at us? How our peers think about us? This is a very tragic situation.

From my point of view, I do not think there is a best way or formula for a person to find his or her true self. Before finding yourself, you must first know where do you stand? What is that you really want in life? Where are you one year ago? Have all the promises and dreams had become a reality or it still remained as dream? Where do you see yourselves one year from now? If you can’t identify all this, there is no way to really found yourselves, because you don’t even know who you are. Just like coming back from a place where you have never been before, and yet you are so excited to describe it to others.

Each and every one of us in reality own one of the most powerful machine on earth, and that is our mind. Our mind acts on what we feed in. We are born we the same features as the rest of the world, GOD has created all human being in the same way, but what determine some of them (the minority) so success and outstanding in their quest to be recognized? It’s their mind.

write for fun

I've heard about this thing called 'blog' long time ago..always feel like wana play around with it but never reli take the initiative until yesterday. when i browse tru my laptop i found i've write quite a number of crap ... Hmm then I thought to myself, why not sign up and put myself as well as my writing skillts to test? It's not a bad idea after all since it's a good way for me to put into words what I feel... n tis is ald my 3rd post... swt~~

So let's start with how is the weather today...haha...it's kinda lame in the morning, hot during noon, a heavy downpour in the evenin n stil drzzling now... I think the weather does affect how someone feels...When I woke up this morning, I feel cold...and this cold feeling makes me wanna creep back under my blanket so I could continue my sleep...But after glancing at the clock, I knew I had to get up..Guess today's not the day to laze around...

Back to the weather, I looked out the window and discovered it has been raining, in fact it's still raining..that explains the coldness I felt earlier on... Suddenly I just have the urge to do somethg crazy ...haha ... I realise I might be someone who acts on impulse and follow my urge...I don't know if it's a good thing or not but so far nothing bad has happened so I guess it's not that bad....

Recently im reading a book named 'Men are from Mars, women are from Venus'.....
This book is really nice, consisting of way or guidelines to understand a relationship better as well as stories that warm my heart and makes me feel that hey love actually is all around us.

Basically nothing's on my agenda today except going to town to string my racket, replace my broken IC and do some research for my project. i think i should stop craping. Glad that i've another artical to post now....wuahahaha

Clock keeps tickling

I can still remember vividly all the wonderful moment and unforgettable memories that UBF had gave to me. When asked if I would like to leave a message on the next edition of Bodhi Leaves, without much thought I say yes.
But when I start writing, all the memories just keep flowing out like a never-ending waterfall, I can't stop writing. There are just too many things to say, too many people to thank, and of course it will be too many words to write then.
So I pack everything into few small paragraphs below...

Clock keeps tickling, time passed,
3 years me and UBF had crossed path,
Once a little kid yet so tough,
Alone I attended the Dharma Class,
Full of wonders so I asked,
Why impermanence is always a must,
Now I understand what I've asked...

Clock still tickling 3 years had passed,
A lot of knowledge I gain through given tasks,
Really no regret after I put down my mask,
I am grateful I've attended the Dharma Class,
Thankful for the ticket to board this bus,
Half empty or half full glass?
I've learned to live on my own class...

Clock continue tickling, 3 years is really fast,
To my Kalyana Mitra who always gives without ask,
Do not hesitate to request when you need a crutch,
Because I'll always be there to lend you a hand so fast,
So all the best in your quest of all tasks,
For those who have a lot to ask like me in the passed,
Please faster attend the Dharma Class...

I wanted to write more but I can't,
Because clock is really tickling fast,
So I have to stop here and go to my class,
If you think you still not had enough,
Kindly grab the ticket to board this bus,
I hope to see you in the next Dharma class...
