Finding Yourself

This post is refering to Finding Yourself by Mary Schneider (StarTwo). It was indeed a very attention-grabbing and important topic in this fast pace world. Most of us are not living the life we wish. We care too much about how others impression on us. We are not leading our own life but rather following the flow of the current society. The trends, the living standards and etc until to certain extend where we no longer see ourselves through our own eyes, but in truth we see ourselves through the eyes of others. How we want others to look at us? How our peers think about us? This is a very tragic situation.

From my point of view, I do not think there is a best way or formula for a person to find his or her true self. Before finding yourself, you must first know where do you stand? What is that you really want in life? Where are you one year ago? Have all the promises and dreams had become a reality or it still remained as dream? Where do you see yourselves one year from now? If you can’t identify all this, there is no way to really found yourselves, because you don’t even know who you are. Just like coming back from a place where you have never been before, and yet you are so excited to describe it to others.

Each and every one of us in reality own one of the most powerful machine on earth, and that is our mind. Our mind acts on what we feed in. We are born we the same features as the rest of the world, GOD has created all human being in the same way, but what determine some of them (the minority) so success and outstanding in their quest to be recognized? It’s their mind.
